I signed up to the Walk 1000 Miles challenge (run by Country Walking Magazine) for the first time back in 2021. If you follow my blog you’ll know I have a history of M.E. (chronic fatigue), but I was in a fairly good place, love walking, and really wanted to achieve something for myself. And […]
My First 300 Miles
At the beginning of this year I signed myself up to the 1000mile challenge. It is a challenge run by Country Walking Magazine, the idea is to walk 1000 miles throughout the year. This works out to be 2.75 miles each day.

Wobble of Self Worth
Getting ill on top of my M.E. always sends me into a spiral of self doubt, and leaves me fed up not only about being unwell but about all the other things I wish I could do but cannot.
Advent – Random Acts of Christmas Kindness for Kids
We have had random acts of kindness notes through advent before, but I’m hoping this year with the girls being that bit older they will be even more inclined to put the effort in!
Advent – Self Care For Kids
You’ve heard of putting little notes in your kids advent calendar with random acts of kindness? Well I am doing that this year, as I think it is important to teach kindness in children and what better time of year to encourage it? I have put together Self Care for Advent notes to go in this years calendar.
